Aviation: The Catalyst In Building Tomorrow's Leaders

Founded in 1994, The Memphis Blackhawks Aviation Association’s primary objective is to target underprivileged, urban, and inner-city youth that are in desperate need of clear direction and positive role models in their lives. It is our mission to accomplish this goal by exposing these young men and women to all aspects of the aviation industry.

Since its inception, the Memphis Blackhawks Aviation Association has provided Orientation Flights and participated in many Career Day events with audiences varying from local churches and schools to other aviation organizations.

The organization is over 100 members strong and growing. We are focused on helping youth succeed by supporting our school systems, promoting self-esteem, and building vital networks to support underprivileged youth.

The future goals of the organization include erecting a hangar for club meetings and aviation training, creating an Aviation Museum, and purchasing an aircraft.
